Co-founders Daniel Martinez and Nathan Cheney first met working on the set of NBC’s, Access Hollywood. After nearly a decade of working together on the network show and collaborating on other productions, the two combined their passion for storytelling and emergent technology to form Glitchbox.
Daniel Martinez
Daniel has worked in the television industry for more than 35 years. He was a producer and technical manager for numerous live broadcasts including the ALMA Awards, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest and the Rose Parade. He has also produced, directed, and edited content for Ad Council and the Ford Foundation, and gained experience in marketing as the vice president of creative and production for movie-marketing agency, Arenas Group where he contributed to the success of many blockbuster films for Disney, Paramount, and Universal Studios.
Nathan Cheney
Nathan is a multi-hyphenate filmmaker and producer. He has story-produced and edited over 1,000 segments for People Magazine’s TV show People (The TV Show), and managed production teams domestically and abroad as the Senior Producer for a UK based video advertising agency, contributing to the writing and development of content for major brands including Amazon, FabFitFun, and NextDoor. Among his productions and network experience, he has also worked on shows for National Geographic Wild, ABC Studios, Warner Bros. and live shows including the Olympics, Emmys and Golden Globes.
